sats
prints articles based on anonymous peer review in English or German.
sats is
published biannually in April and October.
The policy of sats
is to publish serious academic research - papers on any topic, period and
within any philosophical tradition or school with which Nordic philosophers
may be occupied. sats is a forum for the
discussion of Scandinavian philosophers as well as for the general
philosophical discussion worldwide.
sats is
first of all a serious scientific philosophical journal. Yet it is also part
of the Nordic tradition that philosophers present their views and arguments
with the intention of reaching a general, professionally trained philosophical
audience. The editors of sats insist that
this criterion is taken into account in the otherwise strictly professional
anonymous peer review of the papers that are submitted to the journal.
sats
publishes book reviews mainly of the latest Nordic research in philosophy. We
have two review editors, Karl Weigelt (Stockholm) and Ejvind Hansen (Aarhus)
to ensure the variety of the book reviews.
sats is
published by Philosophia
Press, situated
at the Department of Philosophy, University of Aarhus, Denmark.
